The CHI 2010
Housing site is open, and the housing deadline is March 1st.
Why stay at the conference hotel? It’s the center of conference
activity, that’s why! You’ll be able to network easily with other
conference attendees. It’s a quick trip to get to the program and
functions, and just as quick to nip back to your room for a
break. As a bonus, conference
attendees staying at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta will receive a
complimentary CHI 2010 water bottle to use at filtered water coolers
available throughout the conference space.
On occasion, one of the many internet providers or sometimes the hotel
itself will offer a few rooms in their inventory at a lower price than
the conference is offering. There are often restrictions and
cancellation penalties
associated with these rates. If you obtain a better rate than
the one offered by the conference, please let us know so your stay will
still be counted toward our required room block.
CHI 2010 resumes the tradition of CHI City Tours. Before finalizing
your plans, consider staying an extra night and signing up for a day of
tours to Turner Studios, CNN Center, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC), the GVU Center at
Georgia Tech, SCAD Atlanta
(Savannah College of Art and Design), and Moxie Interactive.
Seize the opportunity to see the best HCI practices, new technologies, and cutting-edge research and innovation presented in the capital of the New South.
To register for the CHI Atlanta Tours visit our website. Registration will open by the end of February.
CHI (ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems) is the premier international conference for the field of human-computer interaction. CHI 2010 looks outward to the human experience of computing in the world. "We are HCI" challenges our community to embrace the diversity of HCI in the world and to exclaim our commitment as a profession to empower people from all walks of life.
